At the Third Mission Innovation (MI-3) Ministerial, the international community discussed bold steps to enhance public and private investment and collaboration on clean energy research and innovation. The Ministerial was co-hosted by the European Commission, together with Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
Twenty-six Energy Ministers, the European Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy, leaders from global energy organizations, and other high-level government representatives from all around the world met today at the ninth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM), co-hosted by Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and the European Commission representing the European Union, in Copenhagen.
The Clean Energy Ministerial and Mission Innovation meetings will take place in parallel to a diverse range of energy related activities in the Greater Copenhagen region and Malmö collectively known as the “Nordic Clean Energy Week”.
The 2018 Mission Innovation and Clean Energy Ministerial meetings aim to leverage high-level political will and private sector leadership to drive ambitious, inspired and concrete clean energy policies and actions.> Read more <
